Other news: German conversation group in Petals
One of our members, Claudia Thoma, took the initiative to arrange a gathering of anyone interested in speaking German at the Petals tearoom in Dersingham on Friday, 22nd September. She took the inspiration from a similar arrangement at a cafe in Norwich, which four members had attended earlier in the summer. She advertised the event on the Petals website and on Facebook and around 12 people turned up, mostly non-members of the Twinning Club. Although only a certain amount of German was spoken, it was very good to meet people interested in Germany and the German language. The next session will be on the afternoon of Saturday, 7th October, from 2-4pm.
